Just reading through the match thread on their forum... they seem to moaning about their 7 being fouled a lot. The same guy who IMO committed 2 bookable offences in the first half...

Quite agree - their no. 7 Osborne gave as good as he got. He was one of those players at this level who is a lot better in his own head than in reality.

Yeah he did leave yesterday after only two games : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23928207

I'd have thought he would be more inclined to join previous club Grimsby at this point in his career (assuming they wanted him) if he decided to take a further drop down the leagues.

KON - the request for snow clearers has been made public!

Get yourself down there with your shovel but don't commit until the freebie situation has been clarified!!

3-2 down after 52 minutes, Craig's commentary implied that we didn't even look like scoring for long periods following that and yet a change wasn't made until the 80th minute?? Absolute basics, surely?? I think Arnold Town may be his coaching/management level...........

One of my favourite bits on Tuesday night (in addition to the result and performance) was to see Shaun Pearson in attendance once again.

I have seen him there several times since he left and he was sat just behind me in the main stand with two friends - he was cheering and celebrating as much as anyone else when the goals went in, particularly when Marc Newsham netted.

“I don’t feel Boston will be in any way, shape or form competing at the top end, I think they’ll be competing to stay in the division.”

Blimey! He wouldn't be very welcome on this forum with several posters with comments like that!!

Yes, I also think he has got this one very wrong - Semple would be a good squad player at the very least but I would personally have him in the starting line up week in week out.

I agree with WP that he could have fit into a 4-3-3 with some work, although I always think you should play a 4-4-2 with two proper wingers at this level but JL is a 4-3-3 man and that's that.

He'll do well to replace Semple with better players in that position on our budget.

No. Things were bad, they improved and went bad again. Lessons were not learnt.

I would personally get rid. They've tried their hardest but I think ultimately they are out of their depth. There have been too many false dawns. As soon as I think they have learnt their lesson by getting rid of someone as clearly unsuitable for this level as Jordan Fairclough, they think that Josh Burge is a good option to bring in. As bad a player I have ever seen in our colours. He looks more like a boy band member than the type of midfieder you need in BSBN. He can't tackle, he can't fight for it, he can't pass, he can't make any positive effect in a game. Not that I expect him to do any of these skills to a great level - but he doesn't do them to anywhere near a Sunday league level.

However, I have no answers as to who to bring in either. I won't be renewing my season ticket next season despite having one for many years now - the main reason being non-football related due to the upcoming birth of our first child. But I would love to be in the position to WANT to attend next season whenever it is possible with a new, vibrant, hungry, single manager in charge.
