didn't Craig Charles get convicted of rape yet after he returned from jail he went on to do red dwarf and then eastenders all on tv. so if he can perform on a tv show watched by millions of women why can ched evans not be allowed to return to footie.

double standards by british press and public on that issue

I would thing Vince head is totally focused on the rest of the season and the job in hand.  if greene did not go to the press and sturr things up then no one wud be any wiser and that would give vince chance to have a think about his future and not be over come by the stress greene has caused.

I would have thought that a manager of greenes experience would put an arm round our young keeper and become a father figure and advice and help him through this period.

who can blame vince for having an agent cause all the other players have one and I would think one of the other older players has set this agent up for vince

the last few games greene has left vince sat in the stands which is shades of school boy spitting his dummy out rather than manager helping a youth player progress

don't think greenes man manger skills are very good and this will put him on a slippery slope.

get behind vince gaffer hes a young keeper with lot of potential and a future at high level, we should promote this and gain a few quids out moving him up the pyramid

1990 was last time wyberton won the lincs league. and don't think they have had much choice about moving to lincs league it was part of the agreement over the new changing rooms

Wyberton are a decent local side but I understand there players don't travel to games much further than mareham so doubt they will look forward to Grimsby Cleethorpes gainsborough and Lincoln. they will be another grantham athletic, who entered the league because they won everything at local Saturday level and by Christmas they had gone. that will be wyberton, as for swineshead, they have tried lincs league before and dropped because the squad was not good enough so doubt they will cope in lincs league again, there are just not enough lincs league quality players in boston,

costs, I understand the officials cost over £70 a game so who will cover those costs for both these teams because its never easy to charge entry to a countryside field with few swings in it.

interesting times ahead locally

The B-Ark / Re: Convinced About Vince

im still convinced about vince, don't think he did much wrong yesterday, his defence were poor and the own goal was going wide so not his fault, and the first was poorly defended.

I thought he looked confident and his kicking into the wind was quality

think the club have found a local talent that likely to go far

keep it up samual

The B-Ark / Reserves beat Holbeach in friendly
« on: January 28, 2014, 11:41:13 PM »
The reserves have tonight beaten UCL champions Holbeach utd 3-2 with goals from Joe Daubney, Louis Saebe and Liam Ogden. from what I understand it was a friendly arranged by Holbeach behind closed doors.

well done to the reserves, there definatly good enough to play at least UCL level.

Andy Hewitt is in the squad, kieron Elliott was selected but still not match fit after last weeks injury.

as for comments about DG not using the reserves,  the reserves train with the first team, DG uses them on the bench, last week he gave Dongo 15mins, this week he had to use sam vince,

so good news the gaffer keeps an eye on the reserves don't ya think  miele

our reserves are in a cup semi final and are top of lincs league, so something must be right.

all this talk about lincs league not being tough enough, people must realise that because of the pyramid system the reserves are restricted to what league play in

keep it going vinno and boys,

no broken ribs either, just tare to muscles around rib cage.  he will be out for a few weeks I wud think.

good player and still young too, think he is captain of the reserves

noticed that Skeg town lost to Sleaford and gainsborough lost to heckington with Hykeham only drawing yesterdays win moved the rerserves 6 points clear at top of league.

anyone heard how Kieran Elliott is,  he looked in agony as he was laid on pitch. talk was possible broken ribs and worry over a punctured lung.

well done to the reserve lads for carrying on and getting the win, they scored 2 goals within 2 minutes of kieron being carried to the ambulance, aidie daubney was helping get kieron in the ambulance and as he walked back he'd missed both goals, he didn't believe anyone when they told him

Great result for the reserves, think it was Scott Dawson who got the header not wardy,  and don't know why he was offside as he run from the back of a group.

the reserves really do look good, and I know a few have been mentioned stepping up, Elliott price, kieron Elliott both look really good so with a small budget in the first team perhaps they may get a chance

really think more fans should try out watching the reserves as great value for money

last week Sanders had been ill with flu from wot I was told yesterday, he was not fully fit for the first team so needed 90 mins elsewhere, he was given a choice of who to play for, grantham, PNS or utd reserves, he chose our reserve team. he didn't play for anyone yesterday as he was ill in bed according to what was said at the reserves game

The B-Ark / Re: Boston United Reserves Smash Lincoln United Reserves 6-0 !!
« on: December 22, 2013, 08:42:30 AM »
Im at the reserve games every match and its very enjoyable and value for money, some great football played especially today as some of the goals were top class, some of the players are very young, in fact the 11 on the pitch at the end of todays game only 2 were over 20,

rather than coming on here and moaning about something good that is happening within our club I think lot more of you should go and watch the reserves esp as they sit at the top of the league and are in a cup semi final. when you have been down to see them play perhaps your complaints can be justified, don't moan until you have actually been and watched them.

like someone said, this club has a first team a reserves a youth team and then all the junior sides and community teams.  take all that into account we are very lucky, the towns kids are very lucky to be able to aim to play for our youth an our reserves then to the first team, just like players like sam vince, james reed, Jordan nuttell Charlie sanders have done in the last 18 months.

I applaud nigel vince aidie daubney paul ward and also the chairman and the gaffer and bunny for work with the reserves,

its our club, everyone get behind all sections of it.................

The B-Ark / Another victory for BUFC Reserves
« on: December 15, 2013, 09:50:22 PM »
Another good win yesterday for the reserves, although they left it late, a 90th min penalty giving them a 2-1 win over Hykeham, who were level on points with us. thought Elliot Price and Kieron Elliott in midfield run the game, Charlie Sanders didn't have his best game but 90mins of shear hard work was to his credit. Lee Orry didn't look as sharp as ever but he did create loads of chances. special mention must go to andy Hewitt in goal, 4 top quality saves kept the team in the game.

see aidie daubney was in charge as manager nige vince was not there I would think he was a proud father at tamworth watching sam play and no doubt happy of the reserves result.

we must as a club take note of how good a season the reserves are having and next week there home to Lincoln utd who are on top of the league however with many extra games played, so a win next weekend will put the reserves in no1 spot for xmas.

keep it going nigel and all the lads involved with our clubs reserve team
