Unless I've misinterpreted this both are up before the involvency beak tomorrow.
-
Yes both are before court 55 between 10.30 and 1.00 selection. Just seen that crawley fc social club is also in the winding up section.
-
Crawley? Really? Not a peep on their forum.

I noticed that, not a peep on there forum of web site but i just checked the hearings charter for court 55 under the winding up section and there definitly on it under Crawley fc and crawley fc social club

Crawley have been given until March 17 to pay HMRC tax bill for undisclosed amount. The local Argus reports it is surprised (at the outstanding bill) in view of the optimistic comments coming from the club !!!
-
The Argus goes on to say that no-one at the club was available for comment!
-
Apparently Burscough have been given another 2 weeks to pay their debts.
-
I ventured onto the Crawley website a few moments ago and happened to notice that it only lists fifteen players in their first team squad. That's not enough to fill a sub's bench.....

I'm sure they had a much bigger squad earlier in the season. Are events from our own Football League relegation season starting to repeat themselves?
-
Seems they are trying to raise money any way they can and there has been an aire of desperation in recent weeks.
We all know how lardy loud mouth attracts players with lucrative contracts and then they have to be off-loaded after Christmas. The same seems to be happening there with the high earners being the first out the door.
I think they have history with the tax man though and he will probably not be too sympathetic this time around.
-
This is the time Evans takes loanees on from his "big mates" like Warnock , but it does not seem to be happening season. Any ideas why?
-
Mrs CARTER co-owner of CTFC has now told Argus "the bill was paid a fortnight ago " As LP suggested sounds more like our relegation season repeating.

If it was paid why give them to the 17th March then...all very odd as usual.

Odd, or just not true?
-
Just supposing about Burscough... We've taken one point out of two matches against them this year, BPA have taken three from two, Retford, Guiseley and North Ferriby three from one.
Not willing them to go under, but it'd give us a boost.

I agree, it wouldn't be nice to see another club go under but what do Boston fans want more, Burscough to survive or the Pilgrims to get promoted?
-
Burscough not to go under.Want to go up in the most ligit way on the feild and not becouse a few teams around us have lost a few points due to this.
-
The courts aren't going to wind the club up JUST because it will benefit us, so I'll take any bonus that comes our way...
Ken, can we have a table without Burscough please?

I would rather a club survive and beat them on the field.

To late for beating them on the feild. they are well and truly our boggy team

To be fair, having looked at a number of Unibond pitches this season, I think Matlock Town are more our boggy team.

I like this ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I think we'll be going up regardless but if there was a choice between the two i'd want Boston to get promoted
-
we beat matlock last year at there place.. we are yet do beat bursough

Don't like that
-
we will make our own success and hopefully without the demise of another football club
-
Crawley had at times taken to putting two of my school's best players on the bench, both played a few times...
-
Burscough seem OK - http://www.osadvertiser.co.uk/news/ormskirk-news/2010/03/04/burscough-football-club-saved-from-extinction-in-the-high-court-80904-25954647/ (http://www.osadvertiser.co.uk/news/ormskirk-news/2010/03/04/burscough-football-club-saved-from-extinction-in-the-high-court-80904-25954647/)
