Title: Stamford Match Off

The official BUFC site is saying that the Stamford game is off as:

"The Daniels have been removed from the competition following a rule breach. United will consequently progress to the semi-final stage later in the season."

Whereas the Stamford web site says:

"Due to an administration error at the football club, Stamford AFC will take no further part in this seasons Lincs FA Senior Cup competition."

So it looks like Boston have got a bye through to the Semi-Final. So what happened?

I can't imagine it's anything heinous and it's hardly a major competition, but now both teams are missing a valuable pre-season game. Can't we turn it into a friendly? It's just down the road from me, so clearly I have my reasons!

Stamford are now playing Anstey Nomads in a friendly on the same date!
