Title: Season Tickets
Post by: Dipdodah on August 04, 2020, 01:16:19 PM
Due to knocking on a bit, I've decided this year to buy a season ticket for the main stand.  I have one or two questions, I wonder if any of you know the answers.  Having only ever had a standing ticket, can you tell me if season tickets are allocated by seat number?  If so my family and I would have to buy the tickets at the same time so we can sit together.

Other question concerns parking.  With limited parking I would think I would have to buy a permit.  Do you think these will be available inclusive when buying a season ticket?

I've always thought the club should allocate you a seat as a ST holder, either let you in and choose or give you a plan of the stand and let you pick your seat. But at present its a free for all, I couldn't have my regular seat v Rochdale or Kings Lynn due to people just plonking themselves down!

Now we know where we are next season they soon want to be getting prices advised

As a season ticket holder in the main stand Maureen gives you the opportunity to reserve a seat .

When I had a season ticket in the main stand, we were given a reserved sticker to put on my seat, and the season ticket itself had the seat colour, row and seat number inside it.

IMO almost certainly due to covid secure arrangements, seating in stands in 20/21 will be by name and seat row/number. At the very least by zone for test and trace.

I was thinking about that at the weekend. You would assume that people won't be able to move from block to block at ground.

Be interested to see once Covid isn't an issue (and we have the two extra stands built) how much movement will be permitted between stands. I have a feeling it'll be none, as it was at York Street ever since it got its league grading (it must be 20 odd years now since we saw that migration of fans down the terrace swapping ends at half time!).

As for season tickets, Craig said in the programme they were waiting to find out what league they were in before starting work on prices etc, so it might be a few days yet.

Interesting comment re: season tickets.

"The National League, due to release the fixture list on September 8, has recommended clubs do not sell season tickets for the 2020-21 season."

Can only assume this is in case not all matches are able to be played.

Wrexham selling their in blocks of 10, although they will have up to 23 home games in the season. With us being a 21-game season ticket normally, wonder if we'll sell in batches of 6 - allowing you to pick and choose your 6, with some people maybe finding midweek games more difficult to get to.
