Who was awarded Man of the Match last night? Many Rochdale fans raving about Thewlis on their forum and how they'd like to sign him.

Whole team were superb. Thewlis probably but their keeper was outstanding.
He is a premier league keeper on loan from Brighton. It showed.

Watching it on TV (struggle to get back to Boston for mid week matches), Thewlis played very well. If I were a league 2 or conference manager watching the match I'd be thinking let's try and sign him (might be worth trying to get him to sign a contract for us next season already!). He's a player that can create something out of nothing with his driving runs and aggressive attacking style. The back 4 all played well too with Platt doing a good defensive midfielder role we limited Rochdale to only a few real chances. Bit worried when saw Wafula in the 11 having not played much this season but he did well making the most of his physical attributes. Woolford looked at class act at times on the ball, his set piece delivery was ok but their giant keeper caught everything that came into the box. Knowles did a good job up front with his usual good link up play.

MOM was Luke Shiels, who I thought was excellent. As too was Alex Penny (alongside the others aforementioned).

FOTMOB App gave it to their keeper.
Not surprised and says a lot about the way we played.

Luke Shiels....massive all season.... Captain Fantastic!

Great performance from Skipper Luke Shiels and at half time it was good to see him console Peter Crook who was looking pretty dejected.
