So they recall Dehaney who wasn’t cup tied and have generously allowed us the loan of another player who is cup tied. If that’s right it doesn’t seem a good swap.

Apparently not eligible for Rochdale replay(?) but has been given permission to play against Newcastle should we get through.

He's not cup-tied, however as we are playing in a replay, he's not eligible as he wasn't signed in time for the original tie.

Ok let’s put it another way. They take back Duhaney who would have been eligible for the Rochdale replay and allow us to have a player who is not eligible for the Rochdale replay. It doesn’t sound like a good swap to me.

Or they were well within their rights to take back Duhaney and say thanks for giving him some game time but we need him now. The fact that we have been sent another player is a bonus in my eyes

Huddersfield have recalled 4 players from various clubs due to their injury crisis.

Thanks for that P86. Wondered why he wasn’t allowed to play against Rochdale.

Huddersfield are within their rights... they are their players. They probably see Duheany as more developed than Rowe (even though both played for them in the Premier League last season).

Their game today is at home to Leeds, and it's on Sky.
