Adam Johnson anyone?
Done his time, paid his debt to society.
Would anyone on here be open to giving him the last few games to get his fitness back?
I've read he won't get a game in the top 4 divisions at present.......but Conference North?
Tin hat donned......./.
-
Absolutely not.
I get that he needs to get his life back together etc, but I wouldn't want him representing my club or welcome the negative publicity that would surround us as a result. Think I'm done with us employing convicted criminals.

I think if we played him, we would be no better that the Evan's era. So a NO from me
-
A "No" from me also, though North Sea Camp FC may be interested :D
-
No.
-
no
-
No and no way, absolutely not.
A convicted paedophile the lowest of the low.
Scum and a deviant, the bastard should be castrated and thrown back into prison.
As for served his time, people like him are never truly sorry for what they have done.
Sorry for the bad language.

He could always change his name to John Adamson and claim that he had been playing in Poland for several years.....nobody would suspect a thing?
Probably not such a good idea, we got enough stick for the horse murderer!
-
NO!
Served his debt to society ? Maybe.
Eradicated his paedophilic tendencies?
Doubtful.
Any Chairman taking him on could never look an underage child and parents in the eye again.
Lowest of the low - let him rot in his mansion.

You must be joking Andy , Remember a few fans kicked up a fuss about Greene and a very minor offence in comparison
-
So would the same apply to Ricky miller
-
Didn't we have horse murderer here when the Chestnuts took over?
-
Mascot sales would plummet haha
-
From a playing point yes, let's be honest we've tried everyone else this season..... But what would sponsor's have to say and let's face it after the E###s era our moral stock couldn't go much lower.
-
Yes he's done is time but NO, how would it look to dads brining their teenage daughters to a game.
Lets not go down that road, like others have already posted on here, mud sticks.
It's took us and the Chairman several years to get us halfway back, lets not ruin all the good work that's been done.

I'm not sure the only offences he's been convicted of are of similar "stature" to Adam Johnson's - he was cleared of the taxi driver and police officer assaults.

About the same time........

led to believe he had a very good lawyer who got him off on technicalities. Am sure you would volunteer to be his taxi driver on a night where he had been beat 6-0 and he got sent off again and had had a skinful p86. But there again you are going tell me with your great inside knowledge on everything that he is a really nice guy who wouldn't hurt a fly.
-
Just stating facts... I doubt you'd like his "very good lawyer" to be in touch with you if you claim anything else!
-
Not claiming anything
-
All I'm saying is that he is a very good little player but wouldn't want to go on a night out with him as probably couldn't stay the pace these days
