Roberto Martinez played for Swansea City in the 1 - 1 draw here at York Street on Weds 18 Feb 2004 with Graeme Jones playing for United.  Wonder if that was where they first met?

No, my Wigan-supporting pal who I watched the semi with told me they played together there in the late 90s

I suspect that, if not before then, they will have first met around 1996 when they were both players at Wigan Athletic.

A close run thing - and forgive the pun- but another way to look at it is that I was longer behind you than it takes Usain Bolt to run 100 metres!! LOL!!
