a new chapter is soon to be written about The Famous Five, as you put it YC. It will be entitled Five to go the Quadrant. as for the five, Julian has a chance of being captain, Anne's not allowed cause she's a girl, Timmy chases the ball too much, George tries too hard to be a boy, but will eventually be found out as cross gender, so can't play either, and Dick's just a, well a Dick, so may be confined to the bench.

Mentioning the Quadrant, here we are very nearly half way through the year and still no activity on the stadium site, well I couldn't see any when we
drove passed there on Saturday morning, anyone know anything different????

Probably needed doing anyway and we will be most likely be at York Street do another couple of seasons.
Sometimes work has to be carried out for Health and safety reasons or to comply with league standards.

I don't know about you, but I will be happy to stay at York Street. I know it is not viable.

If you saw them while driving then they were most likely working at the edge of the site and therefore on the retail units, not the actual stadium.

Drove by the site this morning, there's site huts "inside" the stadium barrier, so hopefully work will start soon - fingers crossed.

Was going past last night, and could see a JCB and the beginnings of some work. Hopefully it will ramp up over the summer while the weather is good.

Not felt any earthquakes yet....

Had a slow drive today. Bit here and there going on. Emergency entry road and a small amount of earth movement but sorry to say it only looks like work for KFC/Costa with a rear entrance but nothing more

Why build a KFC, does anyone actually eat that rubbish.
I hope there will be a lovely new clubhouse, with real ale on tap. The beer they have, or had in the clubhouse from Heckington brewery, was wonderful.
Anyone on here apart from me ever tried it? ;) ;) ;)

It doesn't matter that we eat KFC or not, the money that the Chestnut's have got from that sale of land to them has gone towards funding our new stadium.
The beer in the club house is lovely, but sadly l normally have to drive as I live near Holbeach,so l don't get to have it to often.
