Realistically, and taking into account our part time status and our budget, who would be on your wish lists for next season's squad? It would be good to be able to afford Reece Thompson for instance, but could we offer him good enough terms to come to us? I'd wonder whether taking a punt on someone like Grantham's Lee Shaw. I know he's a level down, but he scores for fun.

I think we are going to be surprised TTT.
I think Reece will be here next season, Guisley will probably want to off load him now they have Dayle.
But Shaw would probably be as good at this level as any, we should go for him.

Surely Southwell will want to play at a higher level than our league as Guisely are going to get relegated.

I suppose it depends what length of contact he is on at Guisley, but I was surprised that Dayle went there in the first place.

If he can't find another National League or League 2 club it's likely Southwell will stay with Guiseley, as on 19th Oct 2017 they issued this statement:
"We have brought forward the decision to go full-time in order to give ourselves the best chance of achieving our goals this season."

£1,500 reasons a week to see his contract out for all of next season says to me he'd stay put.
