pretty sure ollie going to harrogate with bloomer as i put on here friday.
-
Also wood could be on his way there
-
Harrogate is a nice place to play football. They can have their pre match briefing in Bettys tea rooms, no crowd problems unless being tapped on the ankle by a zimmer frame is considered a problem and plenty of care homes for the players to recoup in. Are u sure Froggy isnt going there. In fact it sounds so pleasant perhaps I could sign for them, I've got my own walking stick and I could always time share it with Ollie.
;D ;D ;D

v good point however there still above us and just missed out on the play offs last season
-
That just goes to show how bad we were. This season they will be below us.
-
Not if we don't sign any more players they won't and i cant see them getting relegated and im un sure about us getting promoted until we have seen the new squad together
-
Not sure how Harrogate are going to finish below us this season Seenbetter as they are a league above?!?!
Deano is right about Ollie he has signed for Harrogate http://www.harrogatetown.com/home.shtml (http://www.harrogatetown.com/home.shtml)
-
Could it be said that if Ryan ..Froggatt ..Bloomer etc do well next season its because they weren't motivated at Boston ..?
Then if our team does c**p next season, will it be the players or mgmt to blame.. ?
-
Thanks Woad_pilgrim. Sorry but I got ahead of myself and was probably thinking of next season. Perhaps I should change my name to The Eternal Optimist but I cant spell it.

As a player/coach according to a post on KL site
-
Bloody good signing for Stamford that.
-
Might go and watch Stamford a few times next season after my water skiing lessons at Tallington Lakes!
-
Could well be worth while.....
-
According to the Stamford web site they are signing loads of players a lot understandably from Deeping.
Interestingly though, they did have one player there last year, Pearson, a 19 year old centre half, that is quality, I watched him a few times last year and the year before that a couple of times at Spalding. Dont know where he lives but he really is worth the new managers having a long hard look.
It suggests he might not re-sign because higher rated clubs are looking at him which is understandable, maybe we are one of them
Tyronne Kirk, certainly their most skilful player is another who has left with future undecided
Apparently Tom, some would like to see Ricky Miller play with Matson next year, though I dont know if thats just wishful thinking. Actually it's a well used web site, with a quite lively forum especially when considering they dont have a huge fan base, it's actually well worth a read, I pop in quite reguarly
-
Don't know about player movements, but I see Ricky Millers dad has "transferred" to the Stamford forum.Still banging on about what Ricky was,or was not, offered here.

I could see his point about the offer and why it couldnt be accepted, this was no foult of the club thou but for him to be sighned he would have needed the wage to move to boston. And in fairness to the club that sort of money is not warrented on part time. one of those that nobody was going to win.
Stamford would be a ideal move for him as he lives there and currently cant drive. dissapointed he couldnt stay but i wish him well were ever he goes

He must have transferred a fair while ago he's done nearly 1500 posts ;D

I agree, it was no-ones fault, a real catch 22 in fact, deciphering his old mans post, it would appear that KL might be one of the teams interested but if thats true he would presumably have the same travelling problems as was the case here.
At least neither ricky or his old man bad mouth the club, in fact he reiterates again how much ricky wanted to play for us.
Like Bostonshire though, I too wish him well wherever he goes and there are many players from last year, and in truth years gone by who I wouldn't thats for sure
-
David Farrell gone to Stanford..
-
Theyre certainly helping themselves to our old players arent they!
-
They spoke to nearly all of the players that were released
-
David Farrell gone to Stanford..
ryan clarke as well i believe
-
Bloody hell they may as well just be our reserve side
-
Not strictly released by us, but Gary King is hoping to sign for Accrington. If that falls through he already has offers from Ilkeston and Harrogate.
-
good move for kingy.I thought Sleaford Town or Dog and Duck was his standard!Hopes he signs for Accy then we might see those red boots on telly!
-
So David Farrell has gone to Stamford.
Now im a bit simple but i notice that on the Boston O/S http://www.bufc.co.uk/article/2727570/United-launch-college-courses
The course will be delivered from our coaching and education department staff — namely Steve Welsh and David Farrell.
Hows that work then? If he has gone to Stamford can he still be dabblin with his old club or do i really not understand how football works?
Keep the abuse polite

He's a part-time football, and part/full-time sports lecturer. Jon Rowan works for Grimsby Town, but has played for us the last 2 seasons...
-
I'm pleases Farrell is still associated with the club in some way simply because I liked him as a player running the wing, thought he was very good. It also made this thicko realise that as well as fitness and ability being important to HnS, age is also an important factor. I know a lot of us would have liked to have seen Ellie return because of his stature and experience but he wasn't the fastest player out there and I think he is older than the current selection. Perhaps, as in 'Dallas', we will all wake up in the shower (not together hopefully) and realise it's all a dream (showing a little bit of my age now)
Ps. Its my birthday tomorrow
-
Ryan Clarke signed for Grantham last night .....
-
Liam Green signed for Ilkeston Town last night.......
-
Liam Green signed for Ilkeston Town last night.......
Good move for him, after so many non descript performances for us, I still feel Liam Green has more to offer.
-
I agree LCB, I always felt sorry for him because he hardly ever played in his preferred position...
-
yes liam always was a midfielder not a left back we probably never saw the best of him
-
To represent England at any level you've got to have something to offer more than just coolio hair

Oh right so he scored in a draw against Bourne and he's the man to get us out of the Unidump :o Can we focus on players that we do have and need not those that won't be back any time soon regardless of what personal preferences are after one exceedingly poor season.

Anymore on why he was with us after this then?
