Whilst it's good news that Kaine & Grant are staying, defensively it's worrying with no Pidge, Garns, Zak & Marrs. Fingers crossed on Dayle!

individually good players, maybe??. As a unit they had the 15th worst record for conceding goals in the league so we probably shouldnt be too concernd. What we will miss is Mill's long throws and Pidges goals.

The bit that worries me more is who is going to score the goals when Dayle goes.

I heard recently that Garns was offered less money.  Seems odd when the budget has been increased.....................

Depends how much he was on, remember he came to us from being full time at Cambridge.

If true I would expect the simple explanation is DG has a replacement lined up who will want lesser pay than Scott.

That,s how good operators work in any business .

Properly all moving on to the great heights of North Ferriby,
I see that Horrible fat cretin How many fingers Housham has gone there and
Will be eager to spend someone else's money again.

Can't blame them as they Wanted and deserved contracts before end of last season,
Wonder why everyone decent is leaving ?

Hope Nat Brown continues his good form know he's signed,
Hopefully part time training won't affect him too much, that's if they bother training at all.

Housham is known to be a fan of Garns, don't be surprised if he ends up north of the Humber !

Reckon Garns will finish up at Tamworth or Nuneaton

As much as I rate Piergianni, the overall performance of the defensive unit over the last three seasons hasn't been great. We've not been able to grind out the results by keeping clean sheets when it has really mattered. Maybe this stems from not having a really commanding keeper in place.

Not bothered about Garner leaving. Defensively he is too inconsistent and in midfield, whilst he did seem effective at first, over the course of the season he just runs about too much, lacks positional discipline and seems unable to have the composure to play the simple ball.

Think we will miss Mills if he goes - I rate him. Plenty more players out there though so let's put our faith in DG to find them.

IT would be interesting to see the statistics for the man of the match for the season. I know it is only the opinion of a select few on the day but it would be interesting to see if the departing players figure very prominently, "..........over to you Mr Fox.

My Linscum supporting Brother In Law doesn't want them to sign Garns,he says he is a liability in defence and is not a forward so why did we play him there? Said, well,he is tall lol .. He also reckons that Dayle is a done deal even though he said he was waiting to see if any more offers come in after the England game the other day.... I said he won't go there as he wants to play football :D

In respect of Garner, I thought he played up front all pre-season and then midfield for most of the league campaign - with the odd appearance in defence.

Garner has already played for Lincoln, and it didn't work out. He won't go back.
