Title: Nationalities of Boston United players
Post by: York Street Pilgrim on January 08, 2016, 06:43:14 PM

I believe Fabian Spiess will be the first German to the club, following hot on the heels of a Polish and then a Slovakian keeper. This has got me thinking ... I wonder how many different nationalities have played for the club down the years? Brainstorm it, anyone?

I'll start the ball rolling:

Germany - Fabian Spiess
Poland - Max Stryjek
Slovakia - Henrich Ravas
Spain - Mikel Suarez

He's not the first player from Germany.
Wembley right back Paul Casey was born in Rinteln, Germany on 6th Oct 1961.

No he wasn't - he missed several open goals! He had a good debut, but did nothing after that.

Three goals in nine appearances suggest he wasn't as bad as you would like us to believe !  :bunny

Did anybody see him "play", I was surprised at how well he did after leaving us, thought he was a total waste of a shirt whilst appearing for us.

I'm with you. In my opinion, he thought he was better than us and couldn't be bothered, and I can't stand lazy players.

Every single game, and he always linked play up well and done a lot of work. I appreciate its all about opinions but going on his career as a whole before and after he cannot be that bad, lol.
