Title: Worth a mention, HT against Telford
Post by: Mickey Nuttells Hair on October 11, 2015, 09:17:56 PM
Well done to all involved in getting the Positive Pilgrims HT mini game arranged.

Walking back to the car after the final whistle I got chatting to a lad who played, he was absolutely over the moon with the support they got from the crowd.  He said he got two cheers, one for a good tackle and one when he got the ball booted into his face!

Many reasons I'm proud of our fantastic football club, the work the United in the Community guys do is one of the biggest.

Agreed, it is more than just a football team.  And the net is spread far and wide making us way, way more important than any of the village teams with money that frequent our division for a short while.

Agree entirely and it upset me to see we have been turned down for the couple of million we applied for from the powers that be as other areas of the country are more needy of such grants.
