I'm really surprised by this. I've been impressed by his performances for Everton, but I'd head Mourinho liked him and I thought Chelsea would outbid us.

What happened to Ollie Price, the young defender who was on the fringes of our squad at the end of last season? Also Louis Saebe seems to have disappeared from the squad page. Have I missed something? I would have thought those sorts of players would be getting their opportunities now we're blighted by injuries.

Price went to the USA on a scholarship, and Saebe is dual-registered with Holbeach

So how does dual registration work, then?

I mean Sam Vince is dual registered between Boston United and Lincoln United but still features on our squad page. Meanwhile (if you're right) Louis Saebe is dual registered between us and Holbeach but yet he doesn't appear on our squad page. Do we have first call on Vince's services but not on Saebe's?

Are there any other players who are dual registered between us and other clubs but not showing on our website?

Vince will be on loan, as he has a contract. We'll be able to recall him at 24 hours notice, after the first 28 days.

Presumably we've let Saebe go, but he will still be registered for us so we wouldn't need to put in 7 days' notice to play him.

There won't be any others, as registrations are cancelled at the AGMs, and then players re-registered for each season.
