Bit of a risk if you ask me. If an outfield player finds out a few weeeks into the season that he can't hack the distance then it's easily sorted. Remember Kevin Holsgrove. But with a goalkeeper being a specialist position it's so much harder to replace if things don't work out. I'd be more comfortable to sign him if he was a bit nearer.
