As long as we score more than them. I love that philosophy.

We leaked some silly goals though, just how many times did we stand off and stand off for the player to then plant the ball in the net from 18 yds.  The players at this level cannot cope with pressure, and bookings are rare as a Bloomer slide challenge so standing off is the last thing that is needed.

Have you forgotten Bostonshire that we produced from our academy a good defender Jamie Stevens who went with the arsehole to Crawley. He's been on loan from Norwich with Ebbsfleet. Both of these teams are strapped for cash.He was a particular favourite of mine would love him back for a second spell here.just dreaming.

I think the consensus is to be big and aggressive in defence and midfield in this League.
Re the new mgrs I think the expectation may now be for at least one of them to train up and play...

He was in the crowd v Cammell Laird. He would make an excellent addition to the squad.

I heard a few things flying about, about jamie stevens last season, he was the one person that he did like at that back althou i think woods wasnt bad, just a shame the time stevens was playing every one else was going tits up

Wood is in talks with harragate?? i did think he was one the better one's but never got the chance after TT left, Jamie will be a great signing he is looking to play closer to home however our league maybe a bit to low for him if he is looking to keep going up in the footballing world!! but if u cut out the silly goals and standing off then it will be looking good as long as the new forwards can do the job up top!!

The squad is slowly taking shape although I know little of this latest signing, although that is the way it is going to be at the level we play at.

I have a gut feeling though that this next season could see us making inroads at the top end of the table and starting the long haul back to where this club should be.

Interesting to note that the deal was agreed a couple of weeks ago but the new management did not see the need to big themselves up by jumping the gun and running to the press.

At a guess i would say he had agreed but duo to holiday and family commitments hadnt been able to sign. wise move really has we have all heard of the. " We spoke to him and he agreed to sign line" many times before.
