Charming reply, I'm sure, from the Club's unofficial info man.

First impressions for me are not good in respect of the new kit. My favourite was the black stripes a few years back. It seems like they don't know what to do next so just come up with something totally random. Looks a bit 'non-league' if you know what I mean !

It's an off-the-shelf shirt from Errea.

It's bloody awful, worst than last years, who on earth thinks these designs up
-
I must admit, it's not the most exciting shirt I've ever seen, a bit half arsed if you ask me. I was hoping for stripes, or a plain amber shirt, with black trim, all these flashes, slashes, never look good.

Exactly, for charity.
You need to lighten up Pilgrim.

Well said!

I've already come across the exact same designs as ours when playing five a side football.

Just because it's for charity, doesn't make it unattractive. I thought people usually got sponsored by other people to look like a twat, rather than paying yourself...

In the last 15 years I have only bought 2 replica shirts, but I liked the look of the new one and had no hesitation in buying it. Perhaps I am easily pleased but I have no worries that it is a stock design and I will wear it with pride and support my team.
-
In the past I have resisted buying Man United shirts as I didn't either like the colour or the design, never moaned about it,just my decision.I will be buying this new shirt though.. No likey no buyee simples.... :)
-
A good few years ago I purchased the only replica shirts I ever owned - from the Club shop in town. I think it was over the Christmas / New Year period and they were selling off the amber and black stripe kit and the red 'Portugal' one really cheap. I think Ferret may have also been in the shop that day.
Anyway, they remain in their respective packaging. I'm not overly keen on wearing footy shirts unless I'm actually playing (and those days are gone) as I don't find them that comfortable - and it's usually too cold for most of the season ! One thing I have noticed though is that more often than not nowadays, the kits are designed for a more 'fitted' appearance. This can mean the average fan looking a little more 'stocky' or having to upgrade to the size above :)

The sizing this year is different - they are less fitted, so I have gone for a size below the previous one.
