A club that has spent it's way into Conference North, and presumably beyond if they get their season back on track (hopefully AFTER tonight's game) are baulking at having to spend £75k on doing up their ground to get promoted.
As it stands, they do not have a Conference Premier-graded ground. If they are ineligible for promotion this summer, then that means they cannot have a Conference North-graded ground currently (and will have until March 31st to sort this), as you get until March 31st during the next season to sort it out.
Like us, they've had planning permission granted for a new home, and hope to be in it for Summer 2016.
Surely, if they want to win promotion while their bubble is yet to burst.. they have to spend the £75k to do it?
Anyway, I wasn't aware you were allowed to ground-share to circumnavigate ground-grounding rules on promotion? So playing at Preston, Blackpool, Fleetwood, etc, is a no-go anyway?

But haven't North Ferriby already stated they have permission to play at Hull KR ground? Is it one rule for them and a different one for everyone else?

I scouted out the ground yesterday while I am dog and house sitting up here. Only went into the pub car park, which I believe you have to go through to get to the ground, and from there it looked a bit farmyardish. If I had to spend £75 grand on it I would make sure it was on stuff that I could uproot and transplant to the new ground. Anyway they are only going through the same as us in some respects so wish em well with it. Apparently they have not won their last three games so perhaps we could make it four, hope so. Very cold here so will be well wrapped up.

Do they? I read about them looking into it, but nothing concrete. Surely they'd hope to play at the KC, with their family connections? Although it already has football and rugby on it...

Looking at some of the grounds in the Con North it makes you realise what a disgrace it was kicking Kings Lynn out a few years ago .

........... afc fylde stated a couple of weeks ago that kellamergh park would be upgraded to conference standard and work on the upgrading has already started

I believe the bus for Saturday is already full (there may be a couple of seats left if you're quick) so no real need for this? However. it might be an idea to reward those who have travelled regularly on the supporter's bus this season.......

Just to add that the bus was full for the trip on Saturday (again!) with the last seat being filled on the morning. If demand had been there, we would have looked at the option of a second bus, but that never materialised.
The fares were reduced on the day as a gesture to reflect the recent success of the buses and to reward those who use them regularly. BUSA normally aims to break even with the buses, however the sudden increase in usage towards the end of the season had caught us out and left a surplus which was used to reduce the prices for last Saturday. Those on board seemed to appreciate the gesture :)
We will run a bus for the play-offs, but obviously all arrangements will have to be last minute as we don't yet know the date or destination of the away semi-final.

May be a dum question but how do you get a seat on the bus? Do you have to be part of BUSA?

Ring up the club offices in the week (364406) or see the committee members in the Pilgrim Lounge before/after a home game (walk in the main door, go left, near the DJ booth)

Non-members are welcome to use the buses but pay more than members do.
