Trying to persuade my better half to accompany me to this one ..
I find defeat by a ' village ' side playing at Home in Green (Burscough x 2 ?) can be tempered by being consoled by a member of the fairer sex ..
-
yeah me and a few mates making the trip ;D
-
Thinking of going :)

Trains permitting I should be going.
Got to make the 1705 train out of Nantwich towards home though, so may be a mad dash at the end as their ground is just under a mile from the station! :o
-
Yes Ken ..noticed that about the trains. though that's for Boston ..
I thought if u were returning to Leeds U could get away with a later one ?
Via Crewe - Manchester ..
The station is a good 20 min walk thro town ..or one could get a bus to Crewe maybe .

Nantwich Town Weaver Stadium, Water Lode, Nantwich, Cheshire CW5 5BS
Station: Nantwich ¼m. Right out of station into Wellington Road, left at roundabout into Water Lode and ground is on right. There are trains back to Crewe at 1707 and 1907; should you not catch the one at 1707 then Arriva North West bus 84 / D&G Coach and Bus 44 from Nantwich (Bus Station) go to Crewe; three times per hour, takes 24 mins.

Any one know if the CarParks free at Nantwich ?
-
Im going, day off work, awesome!
-
I believe that the car-park is free.
For pre-match grub and ale, the Boot and Shoe on Hospital Street is good value and only a 5 min walk from the 'Dabber Dome'.

Is the Black Lion on Welsh Row still good for Real Ale? It's conveniently located between the railway station and the ground and it's supposed to do half decent food as well.
-
Yes, the Black Lion is a cracking boozer with some well kept ales and decent food. As you suggest it's about 1/2 way between the station and the ground.
If there's consensus on where the Boston fans are congregating, all the better.

If I drive I wont be able to drink sadly ..
( PS . If we are losing we can chant 'We'll beat U in the Play-Offs ' )
