Our favourite Bar-steward as been up to his tricks again.
He struts around with his pony tail wafting in the wind, as if he owns the place.
Some say he has a job to do, keeping the rowdy Spayne roaders in check. Making sure all bottle tops are removed, must n't stand near that exit ect.
But today he took the biscuit, he made a dad take his son off the barrier. The lad was four years old at most, and sat with his dad supporting him. Now in this age of elf and safety you would think this jobsworth was doing his job.
But can the club tell me why only feet away a dad was doing the exact same thing.
The jobsworth stood talking to them through out the match and never said a word.
Rules are rules unless you are this jobsworth's mate.

If this is the Steward that i think it is, i had the 'pleasure' of coming across it in HSBC Bank in town a while ago. I was queueing for the cash machine and when it was my turn to use it, (s)he barged in front of me, put his / her card in the machine, looked round at me and growled "I was here first - you jumped in front of me".
I've seen this idiot around town many times since, strutting round like it owns the place.

Mind you I did see him talking to one father yesterday, reminds me of an Health and Safety Union Rep where I work who was selective of who he would tell off (only had a go at people who he knew wouldn't answer back).

Why do BUFC employ jerks like this?
You mean the stewards actually get paid by the club?
Come on dave there are plenty of fans that could sensibly act as stewards and do it for nothing. :bunny

You are right he changed within 5 minutes. " Get that kid off that barrier" 5 minutes later " you're okay mate just don't drop him " Thing is, it wasn't the same guy. >:(

But Dippy I think the youngster belongs to a certain players mate! Better not upset the freebie gang incase our star player gets upset and leaves ;)
