When was the last time we gave away such a large lead?

Jan 6 2001 v stevenage

28 November 2010 at home to Burscough springs to mind and on that day it felt like a defeat.

We were behind twice, but conceded the equaliser in the last minute (it was 2009).

Ah that'd be the day Old McFraud puffed on an imaginary cigar at 3-0 up in front of Paul Fairclough........
Stevenage ended up with 9 men and should have won.
The work of a tactical genius. ;)
I see The Fat Cheat was sent off (again) yesterday and they lost to a very late goal.
The football God's are fickle masters. ;)

I have no idea what DG told the players in the dressing room at half time, but the appearance of the players so soon and well before Harrogate gave me the impression that they thought the job was done. I hope that doesn't happen again. DG can blame the players but it was poor management on his part as far as I am concerned.

Our players were out at 3.59, it was 4.05 when Harrogate appeared so you can't blame our team for that. I think it was mind games deployed by Weaver to leave us waiting outside then our minds wasn't as pumped as it was coming out of the tunnel.

Or Weaver was probably still giving them the hair dryer...

and that was the first time this season we have been in the lead at half-time.
