Anthony Elding at this level would be a massive signing so I'm with Carl on this one.

Can't see him dropping down a level considering he just came back from a loan spell at Preston.
Although nice to think the impossible could happen.

Can't have him until he has served his time in the UCL on the way down.

I actually think it would be an excellent move for the Club and Elding.  For our part we get a striker of proven abillity and experience.  In Elding's case it seems that he has lost favour at Grimsby, so what would he have to lose by putting himself in the shop window at Boston?  If he plays to his potential I'm sure he would be very succesful at this level and alert conference/League 2 clubs that he still has what it takes.

I remember Adam Boyes doing something similar a couple of seasons ago and getting signed on at Barrow the following season.  However, if as some are saying Anthony doesn't want to come, like Spriggs, I'd sooner not have him.  We only want players signing who want to be here in my opinion.

I think this one can probably be put to bed. Craig has tweeted today that this rumour is 'nonsense'. Then again, I'm fairly sure he said the same thing about SWD coming back and it eventually happened, so never say never.

However, I doubt he'd intentionally make himself look a tit and deny it if a move was imminent...

he is boston through and through. how many can you say that about over the years. i would have him back here right now. for someone that has played as high as leeds coming here would be massive coup for us, and he would be that physical presence up front that we need so bad.  come back ANT !!

Elding and Person don't want to come here because of Evans Drury as they've heard he couldn't manage a p*ss up in a brewery. Boo Drury.

Nice WP. You always get'em  ;)

Out of interest, do you think GD should shave more often? I think it looks smarter in  the older man!  8)

Eldinho would be a great signing......but Boston United are not a good side and would he really want to play again at this level right now? He is still a professional Conference/League Two standard player. Anyhow, Mr Drury only seems to have eyes (and money?) for Evostick Division One and UCL level players.   8)
