Post by: Seenbetter on January 10, 2013, 10:25:02 PM
1. Visiting Bettys for tea n cakes.
2. Visiting Harry Ramsdens for fish and chips.
3. Calling at a cinema on the way home.

Can't wait.

Yes, but it has reopened after being bought out by the Whaler Group.

Not been myself yet, but it is said to be as good, if not better than the original Harry Ramsdens.

Whalers are better than Ramsdens BUT I'd still always go for Murgatroyds.  But that's more of a Guiseley visit than Harrogate.

Not rich, just practical. Pot of T with four straws and cut the T cake into 4. That way you treat your wife and two good friends.

Now you are making me feel guilty. Don't know whether we should come if it's going to deprive you of half a tea cake.

Perhaps 'her indoors' could make a cake.
Interesting to note that NO ONE has yet said that going to watch Boston United play Harrogate is one of the benefits of going to Harrogate on that day.
