What an inspired appointment of this guy as Manager ;D

What will happen when results don't meet these expectations? Bet he won't be blaming himself !!!!

Keep up the good work Mr Drury ::)

Sorry to say No but we as Fans want to see a great improvement on what we got served up on Tuesday,  it seems from GD post match interviews he has discovered the enormity of his task.

Very unlikely, but still possible - nothing to be gained by players and manager thinking we can't do it.

You'll be back in midtable next season when Swann's bankrolling stops...

This season - no.
For all the bluster about it still being achievable, we can't afford to waste money chasing an unlikely short term target - top 5 next season is achievable if we can get the squad sorted out between now and then.
Whilst it would be nice to have new players coming in left right and centre, I find it strangely reassuring to see the latest story about Ozmen - basically not likely to come because we can't offer him enough money.  Shows the club is being run responsibly now, unlike certain times in the past.

I gree the club has to be run sensibly but any more sensibly could result in us playing Boston fc on a more regular basis. Oh what a conundrum.

Don't worry mate, the bubbles about to burst at Grimity and it'll be back to chasing a top half finish and Worksop for your Xmas derby. All the mercenaries like Yeates will find some other mug punter to line their pockets and you'll be left with the old pro's and Lincoln cast offs like you've always had.

Old Swann filled you lot up with some shit didn't he eh? As if a club like us could ever take you as serious rivals, its a bit like Mansfield thinking Forest are their equals.......

Can we? Yes.

Will we? No.

There are enough poor sides in the league to keep our heads above water but we're some way off play-off contenders

and ground sharing with them which means playing at a lower level. time is running out as well as the cash.

Whilst it has to be run properly and not pay what we canta fford,i actually view it slightly differently and why? because we dont know what  constitutes 'not enough money'
I haven't seen the lad play but by all acounts is a really decent player has played at our level and possibly just what we need but i read somewhere he lives somewhere in derbyshire and 'maybe not enough money' simply means we copuldn't find the extra for all the travelling he would have to do to play, that would be worrying possibly losing out in those circumstances

Are we as fans being short changed? We pay top price in this league for admission the programme is the most expensive. But still we don’t seem able to attract players from lower league clubs, not able to pay them enough.

When GD was appointed didn't he come with a coach (by the way I hope his health is improving) and a bottle of Head and Shoulders. I presume the club are paying three wages there.
And lets face it getting people to travel on the road to nowhere (sorry Skeggy) has always been a problem unless you can afford to hide the extra payments, but that doesn't happen here any more.
