Im 16 and would love to be the on pitch announcer at The Jakemans staduim i think i would be really good doing it but i think im too yuong do you think boston utd would give me a chance??????

 First came across this phenomenon watching Derby at their new ground late 90s.
   Seemed  impressive at first .. but then found it  irritating , cloying , and unnecessary ..
    Just about everything done by an O.P.A can be done by an Announcer at the top of York St stand
     The only On Pitch extra we need is  more Boston goals .
          Bring back Nick Thompson !

Don't need one. It's a bit corny and does anyone really listen to him. Drop the idea.

I agree entirely.  I'm not  a fan of the concept at all. What does it add?
