Will mean the kit man has a bit more washing to do though, without Captain Clean in the team!

Couldn't understand why he was "in talks" in the first place.The only player I've ever seen who could come off at full-time with his kit cleaner than at kick-off.

Perhaps the new management team are listening to the fans after all. Cannot imagine what they were thinking of even considering Bloomers.

To be far, he regularly looked the part and it wasn't until I realised a lot of Jackson problems in some of the away games came from the lack or support from a former pro that should be taking charge and helping, that I sussed him out to be passenger he turned out to be in the final months.
