Title: Ex-players-Two facts......and a rumour

Fact 1- Ricky Miller playing in pre-season for St Albans City.
Fact 2-Jamie Stevens has signed for Farnborough.

.......Rumour -former player (briefly) Dan Cotton(Stamford) on way back to York Street.??

good luck to both ricky and jamie i say

+ aint seen cotton play since his brief spell here , but people were saying good stuff about him not long ago , so its worth a gamble, especially since kirk has gone

 hurst was talking to cotton at spalding on saturday plus mitch griffiths has left ilkeston

i liked mitch and would like to see him back here unlikely tho with h/s not wanting him befor

As far as I know Mitch was never told by H/S that he wasn't wanted.He was invited back to pre-season on the same basis as several others,but chose to accept an offer from Illkeston.Perhaps the grass wasn't greener after all.........

Players were told they can come back for pre-season, but some were told to go if they can sort something else out as they wasn't going to be in their plans for the new season

Cotton at training tonight.
Pearson there looking very fit but no Canners.
A very energetic training session. Very much different to the Taylor sessions.
Bring on Saturday!!

if he does sign then , he will serve 2 of the 3 am i correct ?

would of served 1 at stamford in the LSS ?

He still has all the 3 match ban to serve.Sent off for late tackle in pre-season match against Northampton.

I thought the FA have changed the regulations this summer, so that friendly red cards do not carry suspensions...?

EDIT: Seems only applicable to "Only for clubs competing in the Premier League, Football League and Football Conference National"  ::)
