We have what we have, and things will not change before the end of the seaon.

Perhaps we should be discussing who is and who is not good enough at some point mid May.

He was up against it today!
He is the most under-rated of our players but would do OK at Conference level  8)

Bit of an unfair judgement. Cully has a good work ethic and when he gets his oppurtunitys to play he does his best to impress.

We are in a crucial stage of the season and all you can do is come on here and write negative remarks

think positive.

The guy he was up against really toasted him yesterday.  There are always weak links in a team on anyone occasion, you're being harsh on a player that has been part of something good at the club.

Poor old Woods got it last year, our full backs always get stick.

agreed. early in the season i was complaining about him even being in the team but ill admit hes done very well and kept his place which was deserved, the player he was up against yesturday tore him to shreds

quote from him on twitter "Somehow I managed not to have any nightmares...@shaunpearson5 get fit quick! #worstgameofmylife"

stop getting on the players backs and support the team as a whole

I dont think with 3 games left, as well as the play offs to come, is the time to start criticising the players. What good is it going to do now, we're not going to get rid of them just yet. Leave that to the end of the season when everything can be reviewed. Now is the time to start supporting our players, even if they're playing badly, to help get us back into the Conference.

I'm with KON he aint good enough. At this stage of the season we need the best players in the right positions. Cully is a great lad and always gives 100% but he is not the best right back at the club. The problem is with Murphy still out there is very little defensive cover should any one else get injured.

Cully well and truly has his pants pulled down on Saturday for 90 minutes and I nearly left the ground at half time because his performance was actual painful to watch...but im sure he will do a good job for someone like Loughborough Dynamo next season

To be fair to the lad, he has rather acknowledged his shortcomings on Twitter:

@MilesHunter22 how's the new job? Just a quick update at BUFC...I officially played my last game on Sat, I'm still having nightmares #torrid

Cully gives his all and a really hard job on his hands as we played a high back line Sat and there attacking threat was playing left wing and was very quick.

Sometimes I don't know what our "fans" want. 3rd in the league and yet still half the team isn't good enough. I hear it at the ground and read it on here but I really don't understand what there is to moan about, it just seems like moaning for moaning's sake. Maybe you'd all like the squad back that almost got us relegated from the Unibond?

I suppose all the moaners go to work and perform to the exact same standard like robots, the players are people and people make mistakes. Even sides like Hyde can play above themselves it's what makes football such a great sport.

As for the abuse towards Frost on the other thread that would be laughable if it wasn't so stupid. A young lad on his first start and people expect a Ronaldo-esque type performance. He may turn out to not be good enough but give him 2 or 3 games and a chance to settle in before be judge jury and executioner.

This thread is specifically about Cully not the rest of the squad. You can have a player in a winning squad who isn't good enough and I think this is borne out by the management team who, if all the squad is fit would not put Cully in the starting line up. As for Frost I don't think he is up to it but as you say he may need more game time.
