So this is the big day! Despite all our justified anger with the fat one, I remember that the supporters of CTFC are fans like us, dedicated to their team, and I wish them every good fortune.

If they're good enough, then good for them; if not, at least they will have the day to remember.

For one day only, come on Crawley Town!

For today only, I will join the masses of plastic mancurians across the country and will be willing Manure on all the way.

We have short memories. Remember what it felt like when the club you had spent a lifetime supporting became the most hated by other fans because of the management team, and how they attacked you as if you had no right to stay loyal to that club? I have not one moment's feeling for Crawley's heirarchy and hope they get found out, but the fans are a different case.

A further thought: the more successful they are, the more difficult it will be to ward off the probing media, who will start to wonder how they are doing it.

I hate doing this! For the last 40 odd years i've hated the Mancs, ffs i hated them when they were crap and believe me they were at times. Being a fan of the hoops Ferguson is not my fave bloke either. So, today i'll be cheering on manure, not to beat Crawley, to humiliate the FAT ONE. i want to see him in tears, sent to the stand, ejected from the ground, i don't care, anything!! To any Crawley fans reading this, no offence to you or your club, i hope you enjoy your day.

check the grassy knoll and the chips and curry  :bunny

Crawley deserved a draw and with a bit of luck, could have snatched it. Rooney was a waste of space.

I dont think Rusk touched the ball in all his 10 minutes. No change there then. The Fat one just brought him on just so he could say he played at OT

Played at OT on his CV will make it easier to find a club to take him on loan , following many who have already been farmed out this season.

They mentioned Boston United early in the US broadcast, and also said something about Evans getting a 10-game suspension but nothing further than that. Stewart Robson basically trashed him though, he was pretty subtle but made it clear he can't stand him. Whoever was announcing tried to say Evans had "passion" and Robson said something like "you can look at it as a matter of passion or discipline, I choose the second"

Ha and there he goes again! (I'm just getting around to watching the tape of the game now) Robson just said that normally non-league fans all over the country would root for the little guy but he doesn't think its the case with Crawley "not just because of the money, but because of their behavior." This guy is great.

And now in the 40th minute, he's dropped the subtle sarcasm and just said "going to Boston United when he was there was one of my most unpleasant experiences in football"
