Title: Non League Paper-National Game awards 2009-2010
Post by: wend on May 10, 2010, 03:12:04 PM
Do you think we all ought to put in some votes for our team & players?  I have done this afternoon.  There are these categories:
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR
BLUE SQUARE PREMIER/NORTH/SOUTH PLAYER OF THE YEAR
UNIBOND PLAYER OF THE YEAR
ZAMARETTO/RYMAN PLAYER OF THE YEAR
PRECISION TRAINING MANAGER OF THE YEAR
MARK HARROD TEAM OF THE YEAR
SENSPORT KITS GOALKEEPER OF THE YEAR
GOLDEN BOOT
WILLIAM HILL FAN OF THE YEAR
FOOTBALL FOUNDATION COMMUNITY CLUB OF THE YEAR
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

As with most things on the internet, their website is not up to date yet, you can vote by cutting out the voting slip in the paper, or via e-mail at ngavotes@hotmail.co.uk (one vote per e-mail per category). Not sure what the age is for young player, but have voted for Shaun Pearson in a couple of categories, and for the club in the community one.  Any others you think we should bombard them with??? We deserve at least one of these this year don't you think?  :bunny

How about John (Henry) Blackwell, for the life time award, he has put all his life, good and bad times into BUFC
Not many would have taken the flack he has over the years
What you you think ?

I reckon that guy whos name escapes me for the moment,  the little feller who scores a lot of goals should be nominated for the Golden Balls, sorry, meant Golden Boot award. You know who I mean, the Tim Henman lookalike. I know, Marve Newshy, or something like that. He has scored a lot of goals for us and deserves a nomination.
