I really love the bracing air at Whitby - lovely place.... and the gentle breeze off the slag heaps make Frickley the glorious place that it is.
We love you both. Now, just a teeny little win for each of you. That's not asking too much. Please!!!

Where's all there fans gone at this crucial time ? I couldn't hear any vocal encouragement from their fans. As fans you have to be the 12th man and really get behind your players to give them the belief, I'm sure us Boston United fans will do just that at Marine.

For an atmosphere, you need actual literal human beings who live in the area to go watch the match and make a noise with their mouthy holes. We call these strange beasts 'supporters'.

The problem is that Bradford don't have any.

More atmosphere on here for sure! It reminds me of the night we were listening to that dreary dirge hoping that Radio Gimps might decide to furnish us with some news of our FA hearing...

Title: Re: BPA v Whitby
Post by: Bunyan on April 19, 2010, 09:16:44 PM
If Kendal keep it up they will leap frog Retford. Chances Retford will have to pull out all the stops on Saturday to make the play offs and so may play a weakened team against us on Wednesday. The irony is that Kendal also play again on Wednesday night, home against Whitby, and should they win that one as well Retford could find themselves out of both the Play offs and the League cup by Wednesday night. Shame!

Let's hope so, a draw tonight and a draw for Guiseley morrow and we'd only need a draw Saturday.

Exactly, even if tonight is a draw and Guiseley lose Ferriby will surely beat Durham meaning we'd need at least a point at Marine, that would still be a great position to be in though.

That's right Sam. Let's win this league by our own merit and not rely on other teams results. We're better than that and talented enough to win the league. Roll on Saturday.

Still miffs me when we played our first game of the season away, and we have to play our last away.  Still we have come to expect no favours, that is why WHEN we go up to the conference.  We can stick two fingers up to the tossers and say now make up another rule to throw us out.  Because we have only been relegated on results once since we where in the league.

This time we can go up with our heads held high, and proud in the knowledge that despite everything thrown at us, you cannot keep us down.

Depending on Saturday's result of course.

I wasn't saying we'd only get a draw just that if results went our way we'd only need a draw. Of course then it affects the team not knowing whether to defend for a point or go all out for the win. So to put a positive spin on it we know we need to win and aren't stuck in a stick and bust situation when we could of twisted  :)

Best book the train tickets then, no party at the Retford game, it goes to the wire, we'll do it the hard way.

2 weeks ago we were points behind, more games played and 1-nil down with ten to go.  We were fecked and the others didn't even consider us in the run in and we looking at who we'd play in the playoffs.

Two fingers to them, we'll win the proper way, on the pitch, on the last day.
