I've got a County supporter work colleague at Manchester City Council who is over the moon about this signing.
With us signing two on-loan defenders from York City it looks like the Minstermen are sending out a few players on-loan. Were we not interested then in taking Felix, did he prefer to go elsewhere or did we have different priorities. I suppose after last week's mauling we did need to address some defensive issues!!

He would not come back here if we had tried.........

Most stuff on forums is based on rumour or speculation or pure guesswork .
My input on Felix was based on calculated speculation ....as follows .
Felix was sold to York close season .
Nearly all P/T players (as KF was then ) have an agent these days to oversee a move .
With that in mind and the fact that YC justified paying a fee at a time when they were throwing money about like confetti , I would suggest KF is on at least £1k a week .
It would be a waste of time Boston approaching them, the club just could not afford him . My guesswork is Stockport will be paying him £6/700 a week well out of Bostons price range . I think most fans would argue if we are to spend that kind of money use it on a central defender . That's my thoughts .
What was your calculations that convinced you we could afford him , even if York agreed to him coming ?

Is it really the norm for non league players to be 'on at least £1k a week '?
I maybe wrongly guessed BUFC players would be on £150 - £450 a week as part time players and full time players in the Conference National to be on £500 - 800 a week

Many Nat Con players are on in excess of £1k a week , some reputed to be on £2k a week .
I would guess the same as you on the Boston estimate Lee .
Some Con North players are on £1K a week .

County fans don't believe he's on anything like that but working in non league what would I know

Well York maybe being generous and paying half his wages , which in any case it would still put Kaine out of our price range . How much do they think Stockport is paying ? I think they did well to land him , I would have thought 2/3 of the big payers in that area would have like to have signed him .
Don,t know what work you do in non league Big M , surely you can gather inside info to back your case in this debate .

You mean like you have with your calculated guesswork. What are you exactly ? Bostons very own judge rinder ? You've not presented any facts on this debate yourself GHM.

Its pretty clear to most that is was never on Kaine coming back .
