Attacker Stef Frost from Rainworth Miners Welfare, anyone heard of him???
Boston United have added a new signing to their promotion-chasing squad.
Caretaker coaches Jason Lee and Lee Canoville have signed highly-rated 21-year-old attacker Stef Frost, who has joined the Pilgrims from Evo-Stik Division One South outfit Rainworth Miners Welfare.
Known to Lee and Canoville from their time at Notts County, winger-come striker Frost began his career at Meadow Lane and was destined for big things until a broken leg curtailed his progress.
He has since played for the likes of Gainsborough Trinity, Matlock Town and Hucknall Town — prior to his switch to Rainworth.
Frost completed the paperwork at training on Tuesday evening — ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline — and is eligible to face Worcester City on Saturday.

Good Luck to him!Seems hes had some bad luck with a broken leg and playing for Gainsboro!
-
Wondered when him and BUFC would meet up..
Always on the fringes at Notts . . bad luck with the broken leg .
Think I may have gone to school with his dad .
-
We could play Davidson, Lee, Boyes, Hunter, Newsham, Weir-Daley and the new lad up front on Saturday. Let's go for it .....
-
Signed from Rainworth where he's been playing with Mark Camm. Another ex-Pilgrim Billy Millar is asst manager there.
-
Lawrie Dudfield joins now, blast from the past ..
-
So many strikers..
-
i can remember his last minute winner against Lincoln, but now thats 7 strikers (8 if you include Big Jase)... any need ? i'd have welcomed a couple more wingers in fairness
-
Hasn't played a game since being released by Corby in 2009...?!
His match fitness has to be terrible in that case, can't see him getting a game in all honesty
-
Midfield is the week area
-
Craig says the two new signings can play wide :)
-
Sounds like getting a couple of extra bodies on board at minimal cost?
If need be, someone like Newsham or Boyes could maybe cover a midfield place - not ideal but if we don't get any more injuries we might get away with it. Personally, I'd want to see more cover for central midfield and full back
-
.............like we really need more strikers dont we???
-
What's slightly worrying is maybe we will need more strikers ???
As someone has said deadline day for our league is tomorrow.
-
Must admit alittle bizarre having eight forwards, understand frost can play on the wing, but would have thought cover for central midfield was a must.Unless we see movement out today.
-
Midfield is the week area
how is our midfield week ??? ???
-
Short on numbers and quaility
-
Numbers maybe, not quality.
-
dudfield was at best an average player with us before, not really too sure what i make of this signing! at least won't have lost his pace as he never had any! i can't even see him even getting a game!?

Apparently he is here to give cover in case of injuries etc
-
We all screamed for experience, now all we're getting is journeymen. Understand we need numbers in the run in, but they are 8 very important games.
-
Never overly rated him and cant imagine hes any better now having not played for two years!
-
Cant believe we only have eight strikers? why did we not sign Howard Wilkinson then we would have some experience.
-
Can't wait 'til he scores the winner in the play off final... ;)

chelsea in all honesty that is bollocks mate.yes maybe we could have a couple of midfielders for extra cover but with a huge budget you could have a complete spare 11 which we aint got but "quality" your wrong about that for sure.

He may get a game seeing as Hunter as left the club...

Has he definatley gone then? I had heard that he had got a job in Edinburgh.
Was hoping not till the end of season though.

It looks like he has definitely gone when you read his latest 'tweet':

Shaun Pearson tweeted him wishing him good luck and Miles responded saying good luck for the rest of the season so I assumed he had gone...
