I liked him, clearly struggled a bit this season and found it hard to get in. His mates on Twitter seem to suggest he's been treated terribly behind the scenes but of course there are two sides to every story. Shame he's gone and I'm sure he will hurt us in the future, be interesting to see where his next move is. Be very surprised if it's a step up.

Good post and agree with all your questions Pete. At least the Beeb interviews are a bit more aggro than Craig's videos on the YT channel but I understand in-house he can't do or say anything too negative.

Your questions would have been great at the forum the other week. Maybe email Mr Newton and see if you hear back from him? He's generally always happy to speak to fans.

You also have to remember regards the Beeb that Dale is essentially a volunteer, certainly not a full-time member of Beeb staff. I think Rob questions the best and that makes sense as he is full-time.

We looked good for the first 20mins but after their goal we looked devoid of ideas. We didn't create much at all and when we did get in behind we missed. I'd have played Fin more centrally as he looked lost out wide. Rowe I wasn't impressed with but give him the benefit of the doubt as it was his first game. Overall really not impressed. I assume Ethan will come back in at LB now so that opens up a couple more options for us. We certainly don't look like competing at the very top of the league but having said that we are not too far off the top. Massive game on Saturday and a must not lose, hopefully get through to the first round and string a run of wins together in the league.

Thought we passed the ball around really well and the two second half goals were really well worked. Don't want to get too carried away as they were a pretty poor outfit and obviously down to 10 for a majority of the game.

Not sure who the lowest side left are but ideally them at home. Really want to avoid Alfreton, Chester, Brackley & Scunny!
