Notts County

All very quiet after the defeat to County.

How did we look? What formation were we playing? And did everyone manage to get their hands on a home shirt?!

Considering we probably had less than 10% possession to only lose 1-0 was quite an achievement. Almost a masterclass in defending, without resorting to the cynical tactics of their captain!

I'm no expert on formation but we seemed to be playing 4 at the back.

10% possession? Eeeesh! I do wonder about the value of some of these home friendlies...

It was an exercise in determination, organisation and defending our box. We did pretty well. Bostwick seemed to love it.

A good workout for the defence - I thought we defended really well.
Rather a pointless exercise for the midfield and attack, though - they were chasing shadows
for most of the afternoon. Let's hope they get more of a look in against Grimsby or it will
be a waste of time

Grimsby are also playing Lincoln City tonight so they presumably won't be bringing their strongest team. Boston's attack should get more of a look-in!
