Invite him to join the forum and to share his views ;)

Seemed a nice enough bloke when he attended a Trinity "after dinner speaker" night a couple of years back.

Probally got enough on his plate with the building trade recession....but he has done himself no favours with "Ron Manager" :'(

Our chairman wouldnt comment on a forum nor should he. He gives us info through club statements nights where you can go ask. Or just go speak to him at a game. Cant imagine why he'd comment on here

An apology for Alty performance would go a long way for a start.....

Why would he do that even. It wasnt his fault. Id lose all respect for him if he came on a fans forum its just not professional. Like i said if he wants to say something official club statements are the way

Not Newton's fault we got trashed at Alty. He has trusted a competitive budget to football people, and so far they have let him down quite badly. He's making tough decisons in a difficult and pressured climate, with massive (but diminishing) expectations. He may not get all of them right, but critics have the benefit of hindsight.

You lads keep doffing the cap to the gaffer...he knows whats best.....If you all want to know what the Chairman is thinking and you have to form a queue at the game to ask him....then it must be a long one :-\

Doubt if he is or he would have been long gone. As for what he's thinking, maybe it's along the lines of "if you support my manager, then you support me". Just a thought  :o

.....so second hand statements regurgitated by Craig are OK, but honest and passionate statements by a football fan, who also happens to be a chairman is "tinpot and amateurish"

Think your priorities are wrong, and the comments on this forum support this theory.

Would you as BUFC fans be disappointed if your chairman wrote on here, venting his anger after a poor performance, or celebrating good wins?

Our chairman contributes regularly to our forum, and almost everyone is in favour of this. There is no guesswork to the chairmans thoughts on performances/ players/ managers /sponsors/ fans etc, and the club is better for it. If supporters have questions, he answers them.

Perhaps if Dave Newton put a positive spin on current proceedings (Eg. BUFC are only 4 points off the Play-offs) on this forum, how many of you would be up in arms?
