Yes I also thought Whitey was a class act for us but years do take their toll however, I will be at Harrogate tomorrow with a lot more enthusiasm now we have a player who will be a threat at set pieces and the return of Danny Sleath who was not my favouite player but who was our outstanding pre season performer, add Wilko and I think our season starts here.
Come on everyone, although I have been critical lets all get behind the lads.

Dead right Andy, We are supporters and are entitled to our point of view. In my opinion money has been wasted with certain signings, We desperately need a central defender with a bit of pace and a goal scorer. Sorry but I feel our managers have let us down by signing players that clearly are not good enough even at this level.
Make no mistake I will be at Harrogate on Saturday supporting whoever is playing for us and I will be doing every thing I can to ensure that our great club moves forward.

Whilst lunching in the Pilgrim Lounge today was told that the club were out trying to make a signing. Dont know who but I was told on good authority.
Looking at the great photos on hear I noticed on the first couple David Newton stood with our great travelling support, how refreshing.

What a fantastic first day result. I agree with all that has been said about the moaning on Craigs blog although I do worry about what appear to be serious injuries to our front men ( whos going to play up front on Tuesday ?) Having said that it does look as though the togetherness of last year seems to be shining through with our new bunch of hero's.
Lets be having you all at York Street on Tuesday evening showing your support  for the lads and impressing on them that they can all become legends at our great club.
See you at the Pilgrims Lounge tomorrow for a great Sunday lunch to celebrate a great start to a great season.
