Only thing I  could see missing was Newton forgot to thank SP for his concerns .  :)

DG stays, but has faced internal disciplinary action.

There really wasn't going to be any other outcome was there?

Not quite the outcome Monty and Mark wanted, but for the 1000 or so regulars its the sensible decision.

Be nice for a BUFC manager to be in the news for the right reasons though ........just one in a while.

And I can report our former manager (the fat Scottish lout, cheat, convicted tax swindler and self confessed liar) is as popular at his elevated status as he was down here at the end of his tenure.......some of the comments towards him from the Bramall Lane faithful on Sunday were quite unspeakable....... ;D

Good statement. Good points. I agree with Newton's stance. Hardly an ideal situation but hopefully that should put this to bed.

And now Mark will be able to get back to the drawing board and plan for his next project which I would think will be leading the Wyberton protest group .
I think you,ve got a lot of brushing up on planning applications Mark .

Personally I don't agree with it, nor the tone adopted, I think it has a scent of almost, I dont know, epedient flippancy about it, and maybe it's because I am an old fashioned fart that I look cynically upon the rmeark suggesting he pleaded guilty to save Boston embarrasment! ,
In saying that, I respect DN's position if not his view point on this, and the matter should now be closed as we continue our drive towards the play offs

Yep, picked up on that too! Surely if you plead guilty in a Court of Law it is because you admit your guilt and nothing to do with saving anyone's embarrassment! If he did not wish to admit guilt he would enter a not guilty plea! Simples! That's 21st Century Football! We've welcomed with open arms characters with worse criminal records at this Club over past 10 years - blackmailers, horse killers, etc! Case closed and time to move on. Any thoughts, Pilgrim86?

Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

I suspect Dennis pleaded guilty in response to the overwhelming evidence and as advised by his legal representative and to avoid a more punitive sentance. :bunny

I mean would you hang out your butt to dry for a football club like BUFC? :dan

So in terms of Dave's leadership - he was late (by several days) releasing the statement and was reactive to events (i.e. the request from others to make a statement) and then the statement comes up with a farcical and highly unplausible reason why Dennis pleased guilty!  If I were the judge I would hold him in contempt of court. You plead innocent if you are , and guilty if you are not.   2/10 I am afraid and fired by Alan Sugar for poor judgement and poor leadership. Tut tut all round

The B-Ark.  For Boston fans to talk about anything and everything they want to. Including trolls.
