I think that may just be an error in the Grimsby Telegraph. Assuming we've been awarded compensation for the full three month's notice they should have served, then £10.4k breaks down into £800 per week between them, not each. I doubt the club would have been spending £80k per annum on managers when they were only working part time.
Edit - equally given DN was reportedly asking for £25k compensation at some point, that would equate to about £800 per week each. But that figure could also include compensation for the impact it could have had on our season (if we'd gone off the rails and missed the play offs - the 2500+ all pay gate vs. Guiseley would easily account for the additional £15k). Or even the benefit to Grimsby of not having to pay £20k's worth of legal fees for them and us on top of compensation now they've been found guilty. Hmmm.
Edit 2 - DN's statement says we attempted to settle for less than £10k. So the most likely scenario is that Fenty was spouting rubbish about us ever asking for £25k.
