A bit of a non event really.?
7 goals away from home, 2 hat tricks sometimes its good to give credit where credit is due to the players. well done lads onwards and upward.
(rant over)
A bit of a non event really. When they brought it back to within one goal I felt we were in no danger.  I thought they were poorer than Bishops Stortford.  We conceded three goals which was a shame, we have a cobbled back line which may be a problem on the run in.  We are hanging onto the last playoff place so still hope.  Tuesday again is a must win against a team we have mixed results against,

If you were chairman, what would you do differently to David Newton then Andy?

Remember, you're not allowed to spend money we don't have, as that's what left us in the shit the first time around.

Blimey ..Patter now managing the team .. :)
Pil-GRIM-patter United omg
you would need a wifi connection in the dug out a with a smoked glass screen all round so they cant be seen, (because I cant believe many of them would actually want to talk to a player direct, heaven forbid) & revolving doors on each end as I would predict player turn over would be very high, (especially as most would use wikipedia as their chief scout with some players been sacked up to 3 weeks before they were rumored to sign, via email of course) so much braver to tap it on a keyboard though, and then post it online than to actually criticize or even speak to a player face to face to voice their concerns.fans forums would be very quite, and dont even get me started on finances (what was it at least two 30 goal a season strikers the league's best defenders all for what was it again £1 for kids and half price for every one else,I am sure some would half the price again if there mates names had an a,e,i,o,or u in it,

From a True Boston United fan, and rapidly becoming an ex Pil-GRIM-patter fan.

ok need to go now to A & E remove this tongue from my cheek.
I fully expect to be shot down in flames for the above ditty but remember I can answer back on here Unlike the players and management team, some seem to relish in picking on,
ok rant over cup of tea anyone,

Shame DG doesn't show respect to fans! Say no more!
Seems to me these so called fans can call Den (or any manager at the time) what they want, be it on the terraces or social media to get a reaction, If you cant take it back(seems the truth hurts) then dont dish it out.respect works both ways simple as.

By the way have you got your application in yet Mr KON as you seem to know so much about managing  a non league football club. (no sorry forget I said that, it would mean you having to turn up at a fans forum to give your views,) silly me. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Time to concentrate on the match tonight.Let's hope MB can sort the mess and get a result tonight.
And how long will it be before you and your brave keyboard managers start slagging off on the new manager not to long me thinks, >:( >:( >:(

Good luck Bunny and the lads tonight.

Thank-you and Good luck to Dennis (when he gets his new management post, lets hope he gets treated with a bit more respect than a few have given him on here.)

Thank you for restoring my faith on the patter, good to see we still have a good sense of humour on here which in my book will beat the doom and gloom merchants every time,(even if it is with chicken n fish jokes)
Joking apart we really do that win tomorrow night so for once why cant we all get behind Dennis and the team and be UNITED

OK OK plus the fact I would love for someone to start a thread off tomorrow night with those immortal words
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

And what would really cap it off for me would be to see Dennis give us a quick burst of the funky chicken in his victory celebration.

One can but have a dream

Keep the faith

COME ON BOSTON WE CAN DO IT

And I think you will find its a free country and I'm within my rights to have an opinion.

Eggs-zactly and Of Course you are Mr Chicken Tika as do I, all I was saying was that you make these wild statements on here and when some one asks you to back them up with an alternative, you give a cop out answer (in my opinion,)
And I am sorry  if my yolks (sorry jokes) has ruffled a few of your feathers, and yes as for my jokes they are fowl I must admit.

Ok must go as I am going out for a meal now, I am feeling a bit peckish.

Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge has got to be better than Greene.

cop out answer Mr Chicken brain !!!!! or are you like some other keyboard managers on here  just scratching around for a reaction and cant back up your statements on here ??

Suppose that makes me  a deluded happy clapper as well now

Why do I now feel the urge to go out and buy 3 boxes of Paxo and an over sized onion

A drinking session? What is the chairman doing to allow this! If the players paid for the stay fair enough but if not I don't want DG to moan about the budget!

Nurse Nurse Kon is out of bed again !!!!!
Seems to me only a season or two ago that a certain KON was on here trying to blag free tickets and then moaning about the budget at the time, mmmmmm the phrase pot kettle & black come to mind (there are other phrases that come to mind but out of politeness I will stick to that one)
KON can I ask you a question are there any managers you have not had a go at in the past or is it just you like to moan on here ???? (hats off though you are very good at it)
OK rant over cup of Tea anyone,
All the best to Den and all the players and staff for the coming season .
(from a confirmed and proud happy clapper,(before I get accused again)
Kind Regards
LL
