Dave mate,I've worked out who you are from the clues!! ,Nottingham,The Eagle, the real ale-now you just have to work out who your talking too!.
Here's a couple of (big) clues-I don't live to far from your mum and we sit even closer at York Street!
Sorry mate, my Sherlock Holmes deductive reasoning hasn't been too sharp of late, seeing as I spent many games sat by you I should have realised! I knew you liked your Talisker but didn't know you were into real ale! Hopefully the new bar will have a better selection.

All these clues and I'm still stumped!

Or what ever it's going to be called. Anyone know when it opens to the public and anyone know what beer they'll be selling?  :P

check the grassy knoll
I hope they can get at least one real ale on, last season they managed  to get some excellent "Doom Bar" on from Cornwall for a short time, though normally I have to make a trip to the Eagle to sample a decent pint
Doom Bar??-did they really Dave-how in the name of all that's holy did I miss that.Cookie,if you read this thread,a real ale or two...........please
I kid you not my friend, about 3 months before the end of the season, though it was only a couple of games drinking before I was back on the Guiness as it was gone!

....... has signed for Kettering.I always liked Franny, but fancy signing for the ploppies!! ::)Still could have been worse,it could have been Tinpot Trinity.

P.S.
I post these threads because I have always had an interest in where our ex-players turn up,and I assume there are others of a like mind.If enough people say they are not interested, then I'll stop.
I'm surprised he's signed for Kettering too, as I'm sure he could do a job in League two for someone. One of my favourite players, particularly after I spent a train journey sat next to him from Nottingham to Boston for a game. (The boys in blue had withdrawn his driving ability at the time). Needless to say he was nearly speechless at some of the things that were going on under the Tartan Taliban, particularly the scout that attended home games/lap dancing impressario trying to tell players what to do in training! (Luckily he was met with unified derision from the players). You always got 100% from Franny unlike most of the shower from last season. How dare some of them be surprised when they were released, it was the poorest collective effort I've seen from a squad since I started going.

Unfortunately you are applying commonsense and logic to solve the problem. The Conference, Unibond and FA never seem to base their decisions on any of these factors! I should say by the time Farsley have had their appeal our fixtures will be published, though it would make sense to put them in our league.

Does that mean then that they'll be included in the fixture list? Are we going to be in the farcical situation where some unfortunate club is scheduled to play them on the opening day and NBS will only officially be kicked out of the league when they don't send out a side for that game???

Yes and no.

They will be included in the list.

And untill the team delist themself they will continue on the fixture list but just lose everygame 2 nil that they dont put a team up for.(wich will more than likely be all games)
Surely the unibond has to act on this and do it fast
Opening day last season we didn't play because Nantwich hadn't got round to planting some grass seed (The groundsman was having an off day)This pales into comparison with NBS. Now we could have the scenario where we draw NBS away on the opening day and they fail to have a few basics such as team, ground , chairman, tea lady etc. Apparently even the bloke that runs the website has "transferred" to North Shields! Mark my words we WILL draw them on the opening day of the season!
