Brackley incentive
« on: March 20, 2014, 08:09:14 AM »
Chairman offered free entry to all under 18's and half price entry to BPA if you went to Gloucester game. Attendance 197. I know it was midweek but for a team going for play-offs that is poor. How do these guys survive?
Anyway not a bad offer poss something we could think about?

When teams are being bankrolled it is quite easy to survive.

I would rather see brackley go up than north ferriby.  At least they have spent some of their money to improve their ground unlike ferriby whose plan is to move in with Hull KR and just ploughed their money into players.

What have they done to it.  There isn't much room for anything to be added

All they have done is what is required for this level, which is shove some extra seats in the stand, build some more turnstyles and shove another toilet in!

If they were to be promoted they then would have until March next year to bring it up to prem standard.
A moaney clapper!......... best of both worlds

If grounds aren't up to conference premier standard then the teams should not be allowed to enter the playoffs.  Simples.

If Hull City owner doesn't get his way to rename them Hull Tigers he is threatening to sell.  Would any new owners continue the funding stream to North Ferriby?  If not, they would go belly up!

Would they go belly up? How many of their players are on contracts after the summer currently?

Plus, the owner of North Ferriby is not the same person as the owner of Hull City - it's the son in law, I believe. Maybe if the owner of Hull pulls out, he'll move onto NF and seriously push them up through the divisions?
