At Alty away last season when the subs were warming up at half time they took it in turns to do this drill where the ball was crossed over from the byline to where they were standing on the edge of the area. The player than had to try and control it and then volley it into the goal without the ball hitting the ground first.
Ian Ross was, not surprisingly, the best at it. But I was surprised that Galinski was almost as good - sounds like that sort of practice paid off tonight.
