Think the doubters need a dose of realism. Whilst being a glass half full type of guy, i am dissapointed at the present time like most with the way the results are going . The step up via promotion to the Con Prem is,  i think we all agree,  a step too far at the present time. We have, for the foreseeable future reached our level. The increasing costs of playing in the Con Prem are costs we cannot meet at the present time. The squad is good enough to push for the playoffs and not get into a relegation fight, but for the next couple of seasons  mid table is the most realistic prediction. Changing managers and half the squad is just going to burn a hole in our great chairmans pocket with no garantee of improvement. Lets support the team and managers when we win and lose and prepare ourselves to be in this league for a season or two.

Its not about commitment to our club boggy, its about a will to win within the person themselves, that cannot be taught or coached. You have either got it within you or you havent, and them two players have got in within themselves. Ask yourself why did S&H want them at Grimsby- because they give it all when they play, which is a great starting point for any budding pro.

I think to be fair its about time we put Milly out of his misery. Hes returned after horrendous injuries time and again but is just not good enough for this level and  the level above. Each season begins with new midfielders above him in the pecking order.Time to be honest with the lad and release hlm.

The GB squad  have reached the semis at the games. After group games v Canada (won 2-1), Ghana ( won 1-0) and Japan (lost 1-0) they have just beaten South Korea 1-0 in the Q/finals. This sets up a semi-final against Brazil on saturday. Good luck Sleathy, Murphy and the rest of the squad.

Early days but Milnes may turn out a more accomplished midfielder than Church .
slightly different players imo, cant see Milnes smashing his way through the likes of Retford etc and let him play 40-odd games before compairing the two. Milnes wont be here long if he turns out to be as consistent as Churchy was over two seasons.
Interestingly the codheads are moaning at Pearsons lack of pace in the pre-season games and both were injured for the opening game v Fleetwood.
