Local politics will save it Ken .
Lincs CC have brain washed so many people that the relief road will end all Boston traffic problems and eliminate the need for a bypass they dare not let it fail ..........we hope .

But I'm worried that Brexit gives Lincs CC a perfect excuse to avoid spending any money on Boston. :(

LCC don't need an excuse Ken. They've already stopped spending money on Boston!

A partially completed new stadium may not meet health and safety requirements for spectators. Personally, I think the club should try and ground share with our friends at Tattershall Road like the successful Youth team already do. I am sure Town's stadium probably meets the requirements for NPL or Conference (North) standards. As for Mr Murray, I have said before he is a brilliant young manager but I am not 100% sure if he is getting much job satisfaction at the moment at the Club - I hope that I am wrong.

Tattershall Road might meet standards required but the access road certainly wouldn't! Just imagine leaving time!!!

Poor game, played on a poor pitch, in poor weather by two (very) poor teams.

Boston were marginally the better team until they scored, then Trinity had the best of the last half hour - draw probably a fair result
Smith, playing up front for Boston has perfected the art of winning free kicks (hooks his arm through the defenders, turns and falls - 4 successful times today)
Interesting to see BUFC fans comments on the ref - we thought he was a blatant 'homer' with most decisions going Boston's way - especially the free kicks around our area

Both teams need to be worried about were they will finish, BUFC have changed their manager and unless things improve quickly, can't see Trinity keeping faith with theirs

A 'homer' ref eh? Card count: United 4 Trinity 0

Unsurprisingly the court ruling is that parliament has to be consulted before Article 50 is signed, could be that Brexit doesn't really mean Brexit after all
If it comes down to a parliamentary vote which way will Matty Warnham MP vote  :o  :dan

If he wants to keep his seat surely he'll have to vote the way we voted in the referendum? Or is the  party more important?

The Canadian/EU  CETA trade deal has just been signed .
Thought to be worth around £10billion of trade per year.
Trade deals with China, India, America, etc look like the way forward for us  8)

That is true - but it took 7 years of negociations.

Mainly because all 27 nations had to agree it! Surely one agreeing with another one would be easier?

But would anyone have supported a JR if the answer had been the other way?

Heard someone in the stand say it was the ref's first game in Conf North after being promoted; apparently he's being 'fast tracked' by the FA as he's 'one for the future'. God help us!

Stepping back for a moment, the role of a Member of Parliament is to stand for what he believes and what he understands his electorate voted for at the time of his election; i.e. the views expressed in his manifesto. Unlike a trades union delegate, he is not mandated to vote, but votes on his own conscience, normally following the lead of his party.

At times like the present, this may be unpopular with supporters (including me) of a different opinion, but that is the parliamentary system.

So we may just as well vote for a party and let them decide who represent us? God help us!

This also raises the question of what would happen if or when the Brexit legislation is put before parliament in an attempt to get it voted down.
Would Matt vote as 75% of his constituents would like, ie in favour of the Brexit, or would he join the majority of MPs in voting against?
If its the latter then he probably should consider his position before the situation arises.
Maybe someone on his Twitter feed could ask him, in the interests of openness and transparency.

He'll be frightened to 'rock the boat' and be frightened he won't be considered for another bag-carrying job. He'll support the Party come what may - whatever they tell him to do, he'll do

So the manager of the team promoted in the play-offs becomes a manager of another team in Conference North and the manager of a team relatively near the bottom of the CN goes on to become a manager of the team promoted? Sensible?

He had a long interview with a Times reporter in last Saturday's edition. A lot of name dropping, makes very interesting reading.

Should know by now, don't believe everything you read!
