Good feeling today to get up and have the normal football browse around the web to find Boston nicely placed at the top of the form table. Thought yesterday we was a bit slow to get a grips with the pitch. took about 25 min or so but once we did it was once again a good slick passing game by Boston.  It was game over once we got the first goal and at time it was like we was teasing them. Den dont sound to optimistic about keeping Dixon which will be a blow but i got faith in Den and his magic bag.

Not to bothered about the other teams around us having games in hand as theres also a few around us that have not so longs we keep winning then i think we could still sneak it

its a great stat but we drew too many in December.
If we do slip up this year it will be, like last year, Decembers "hiccups" that cost us.
im hoping the newly funded BPA will take points off those around us.

Well done it's a great skill finding something to complain about when we are playing the best stuff for years.

I fall in the Happy Clapper side of things Mel!
I wasn't being negative, just stating that a relatively poor December may (and I hope not) have cost us.

Just had a look at the highlights and see that BPA did have a good shout for an infringement out on the touchline before our second. I didn't see that being down the other end of the terrace. But it still looks as if we had an equally good shout for a penalty immediately before it. A good display, though. I've had to miss a fair number of games recently (has a season ticket ever been so little used?) and it's nice to come back and see that.

Can't argue against the current form but for us to stay as we are we could do with a few teams taking a couple of tonkings especially Guisely and Chorley who despite the recent goals will both have a better GD than us once the games in hand are played.
Huge game Saturday

If they increase the GD in these games then they'll be several points clear as well?

What a great game, only my second game back since about 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Team played well and some of the goal where top notch, although I feel the pitch had a lot to do with the play but they still got on with it. I have a question though, about the ground and pitch, have they just gave up on it? I mean I feels like everything has just been given up on, maybe in hope of this new stadium but the pitch isn't great and the stands have been neglected for some time by the looks of it ie some paint here and there. When we was in the football league we used to have one of the best pitches and playing surfaces around even up there with big clubs. That's changed, I understand the winter weather doesn't help but still... Oh well im just a picky bugger.
