Desperately need a new goalkeeper. Need someone bigger and more experienced as Joel Dixon. The team are having to try and cover the keeper which isn't on. Dennis knew he was losing Dixon and had long enough to find a decent replacement.

We have found a replacement - see the other thread. I'm presuming he didn't play Tuesday or today, due to the previously-mentioned family bereavement - not something we can control!

On the one hand you have to applaud the relationship DG has with Sunderland and others that has allowed us to get in all these loanees but wonder what would happen as looks inevitable at some stage in the near future Poyet gets sacked. Wonder if they would then dry up?

The relationship started with Kevin Ball, their U21s manager last season. He was replaced by Robbie Stockdale, and this hasn't affected anything...

On the other hand, maybe the relationship we have with Sunderland will enable us to pick up some of their first team players on day release from North Sea Camp.

Without tempting fate, but with a bit of forward planning needed, If we do get to the play offs who will be in goal. Max is only on loan until 25th April I think.so that needs covering pronto!

It's already covered.

"Provision for Stryjek to stay even longer has also been made should the Pilgrims reach the play-offs."
