Beginning to think that we have it wrong about refs. Perhaps they are trained to be crap and have to be rubbish to get on in the beautiful game. We obviously are wrong in expecting refs to know what they are doing. I felt for that yank player in the penalty box who was booked for not getting out of the way and letting the ball hit him high on the chest. He should have tried harder to avoid it.
